Tama’a is more than just a food magazine. It’s the magazine of the islands, inviting you to (re)discover French Polynesia through its gastronomy. Five archipelagos and 118 islands translate into exceptional terroirs of atolls and high islands, treasures of endemic, indigenous, and imported products that have found a magnificent expression here. Tubers, vegetables, fruits, spices, and meats constitute a sometimes overlooked wealth that defines the cuisine of the islands. French Polynesia also boasts thousands of kilometers of reefs, lagoons that are a miracle of beauty and rich marine life, and 5 million square kilometers of protected areas within an exclusive zone where fishing is practiced sustainably.

This is a title that was conceived as early as 2010. The context at the time (political, economic, and even gastronomic) didn't allow for its development. So it was in November 2017 that the first issue was published. Tama'a is not just a food magazine. It's the magazine of the islands, inviting you to (re)discover French Polynesia through its cuisine. Five archipelagos and 118 islands translate into exceptional terroirs of atolls and high islands, treasures of endemic, indigenous, and imported products that have found a magnificent expression here. French Polynesia also boasts thousands of kilometers of reefs, lagoons that are a miracle of beauty and rich fauna, and 5 million km2 protected within an exclusive zone, in which fishing is practiced sustainably.

For 5 years and 28 issues, Tama'a has been working to unveil the gourmet experience that the Polynesian terroirs, both terrestrial and maritime, can offer you.

Investing in Tahiti focuses on investments and opportunities in this French territory in the South Pacific, which boasts numerous advantages: political, monetary, and military stability. In an unstable and ever-changing world, Tahiti has a significant role to play.

POERAVA

Pearl Guide
from Tahiti

The Tahitian pearl is the most beautiful pearl in the world. This isn't chauvinism, but a purely aesthetic observation. The Tahitian pearl is authentic and sustainable. It belongs to a unique world. Since 2019, POE RAVA has been published annually to showcase, in English, French, and Japanese, the qualities of this pearl, which, like the diamond, deserves to adorn stars and runways worldwide.

Released in May. Paid.

Tahiti Wellness

In our islands, one feels an uncommon life energy. Here, it is called Marui Ora (ora, life). Is it the origin of taurumi (Polynesian massage), monoi (sacred oil made from the tiare Tahiti flower and coconut), and ra'au Tahiti (treatments using plants and nuts, such as tamanu)? Is it thanks to this energy that we feel a natural well-being in certain breathtakingly beautiful places on our islands? Is it the gentleness of the water and air that brings this feeling of well-being? Or is it the customs of our islands, where letting time unfold without rushing, welcoming others, listening, exchanging, and sharing are intrinsic parts of Polynesian society and soul?
The magazine is published twice a year. (Pays fee applies)

The vast majority of the Polynesian population suffers from poor health. Overconsumption of processed foods, a sedentary lifestyle, and insufficient preventative care have led to a host of health problems common in modern societies: obesity, cardiovascular disease, and diabetes. Thematic fact sheets, covering approximately forty topics each year, are organized by age group.

Fenua Ananahi
Guide to sustainable development

This annual publication isn't a guidebook in the traditional sense. Dedicated to sustainable development in French Polynesia, it aims to showcase private, entrepreneurial, administrative, and public initiatives on Tahiti and its islands. With, on the one hand, an excessive dependence on thermal energy and multi-sectoral imports, water availability issues on some islands, and outdated urban transportation systems, and on the other hand, massive investment in photovoltaics, small-scale hydroelectric projects, and a rapidly developing sustainable or organic agriculture, Tahiti finds itself at a crossroads. Fenua Ananahi (which could be translated as Tahiti Tomorrow) addresses all these topics frankly but constructively. Discover the latest issue online.

Released in August, for the start of the school year. Paid.
